  • Can Printed or Embroidered Linen Be Machine Washed?
    Printed and embroidered linen can usually be machine washed at 30C on a gentle cycle, turned inside out with embroidery in a mesh bag. Metallic or foil thread, foil print, and beaded trims should be hand washed instead.
  • Is Linen Warmer Than Cotton?
    Linen is not warmer than cotton by insulation: flax conducts heat away from skin faster, so it feels cooler on contact. It is the more comfortable and effectively warmer choice in damp, humid or active cool weather because it moves moisture and dries quickly.
