Question 1

If you do not know the size, choose a size-free linen gift such as tea towels, a throw or a scarf, or a forgiving cut like a relaxed shirt or wide-leg pant, and size up when between sizes. Here is how to choose the right size for a linen gift.

Size QuestionsWhat Size Linen Should I Buy as a Gift?Direct answer: If you do not know the recipient's size, do not buy a fitted linen garment. Choose a gift that needs no size at all, such as tea towels, napkins, a table runner, a throw or a scarf, or choose a forgiving format such as a relaxed shirt, a loose midi dress, a wide-leg pant, a robe or a sleepwear set with an elastic or drawstring waist. If you must buy a fitted piece, compare the listed product measurements against a garment the recipient already wears, and when they sit between two sizes choose the larger one, because linen has no stretch and a size down is the size that gets left unworn. As a simple reference: a forgiving top or dress usually works when you know only the recipient's general build; a wide-leg or drawstring pant needs an approximate size band; a fitted dress or tailored trouser needs a real measurement. Keep the receipt, check the exchange window before you order, and treat a size swap as part of the gift rather than a failure.Start by asking whether the gift needs a size at allThe safest answer to the question "what size should I buy" is often "none". A large share of the best linen gifts never depend on a measurement, and starting there removes the entire risk of a size mistake. The table below sorts common linen gifts from size-free to size-critical, so you can match the format to how much you actually know.Linen giftNeeds a size? What you must knowRisk if you guessTea towels or napkinsNoNothingNoneTable runner or throwBroad dimensions onlyRoughly the size of the table or roomVery lowScarf, pouch or toteNoNothingNoneRelaxed shirt or oversized topOne-size-leaning formatGeneral buildLowWide-leg pants or drawstring waistSize band, adjustableApproximate sizeMediumLoose midi dressSize band, forgivingApproximate size and heightMediumFitted dress or tailored trousersExact sizeMeasured chest, waist or hipHighStructured jacket or blazerExact sizeMeasured shoulders and chestHighRead from the top and stop at the first row that matches what you know. If you know nothing about the recipient's size, the first four rows are still open to you, and no guess is required. The lower two rows are not better gifts, they simply demand information you may not have, so they belong with people whose measurements you can confirm. Two formats deserve special mention because they sit between the rows. A scarf or a pouch is genuinely one-size and suits almost anyone, which makes it the safest single item when you have no information at all. A throw is size-free in the strict sense but benefits from knowing roughly how large the recipient's sofa or bed is, so it is best when you have seen their home.Quick rule: if you can picture the recipient wearing it but cannot name their size, you are looking at the wrong format. Move up the table to something that does not need a measurement, or move to a forgiving cut that tolerates a small error. When a fitted garment is the right gift, size it properlySometimes the recipient will genuinely prefer a fitted piece, or the occasion points to one. In that case, do not guess from a label. Follow a short method instead, because letters such as small, medium and large vary by nearly a full size between brands.Find a known garmentThink of a piece you have actually seen the recipient wear, or ask someone close to them. A garment they already own and like is the single most reliable anchor, because its measurements reflect how they like their clothes to fit, not just their body.Compare measurements, not labelsA trustworthy product page lists real numbers such as chest, waist, hip, length and shoulder width. Lay the reference garment flat, measure the same points, and compare. If the listed numbers match the garment the recipient wears, the size is right. This is the step most givers skip, and it is the one that prevents most mistakes, as explained in our guide to how sizes run.Apply the linen allowanceLinen does not stretch, so a garment that measures exactly at the seams can feel tight when the wearer sits, reaches or crosses their arms. When the recipient sits between two sizes, choose the larger one. A size up in linen reads as relaxed and intentional and can be taken in; a size down cannot be let out and is usually left in the wardrobe.Confirm the exchange route before orderingCheck the returns and exchanges policy and keep the order confirmation. A gift with a clear, relaxed exchange process removes the pressure from the whole transaction, and in practice most correctly chosen linen gifts are kept. The wider method for matching body measurements to listed garment measurements is set out in our guide to choosing the right size.Identify a garment the recipient already wears and likes.Compare its flat measurements against the product page numbers.Choose the larger size if the recipient is between two sizes.Check the exchange policy and keep the receipt.Mention the exchange option briefly when you give the gift. One extra habit helps more than any single rule: favour pieces with adjustable features. A drawstring waist, an elastic back, a wrap tie or a belt absorbs small sizing errors, so a garment with those details is a safer gift than a fixed, fitted one. If you are set on a fitted piece for a recipient whose size you cannot confirm, that is the point to step back to a forgiving format rather than risk a garment that cannot be worn.Reading a linen size chart without seeing the recipientEven at a distance you can size a gift accurately if you read the chart the right way and use a few practical shortcuts. The goal is not perfection but a size that is close enough to wear and easy to swap if it is not.Prefer charts with numbers over charts with lettersA chart that lists measurements in centimetres or inches is more useful than one that lists only letters, because numbers can be compared directly against a garment while letters cannot. When a page gives both, trust the numbers.Match the two or three measurements that matter mostFor a top or dress, chest and length matter most, because they decide whether the piece closes comfortably and where the hem falls. For pants, waist and inseam matter most. For a fitted dress or a jacket, the shoulder width and waist are the decisive numbers, because those are the hardest to alter. You do not need every measurement; you need the two or three that decide fit for that format.Allow for height as well as buildA loose midi dress on a shorter recipient can read as a maxi, and the same dress on a taller recipient can read as a knee-length piece. If you know only that the recipient is notably tall or notably short, choose a style whose length is less sensitive, such as a relaxed shirt or a wide-leg pant, and let the format absorb the difference. When you cannot compare, choose adjustable and neutralIf no garment and no measurement are available, the correct move is not to pick a middle letter and hope. It is to choose a format with adjustment, such as a drawstring waist or an elasticated back, and a neutral cut that flatters a range of bodies. That combination is what makes a gift wearable without a measurement.Trust numeric charts over letter charts.Compare the two or three decisive measurements for the format.Account for height when the length is sensitive.Prefer adjustable waists and elastic backs when you cannot compare. If you cannot do any of the above, choose a size-free gift. The recipient who falls exactly between two standard sizes is the classic case where givers hesitate. The short answer is that the larger size is the safer gift in linen, and the reasoning, along with what to do about length and drape, is covered in our note on what to do if you are between sizes.Sizing home textiles: the only measurements that matterHome textiles are the safest linen gifts because they need so little information, but a few dimensions are worth getting right so the piece actually fits the recipient's home.Table runner and tableclothFor a runner, you need the table length. A runner should overhang by roughly 15 to 20 centimetres at each end, so a two-metre table suits a runner of about 2.3 to 2.4 metres. For a tablecloth, add the drop you want on each side to the table dimensions. If you cannot measure the table, a runner is more forgiving than a tablecloth because it sits over any surface.ThrowA throw should be large enough for two people to share but not so large that it drags. A generous size works on both a sofa and the end of a bed, and a neutral tone suits any room. If you have seen the recipient's sofa, match the throw to its width rather than guessing at a generic size.Tea towels, napkins and bath towelsThese need no size decision beyond a sensible standard, so they are the safest of all. A set of two or three tea towels, a set of four or six napkins, or a bath towel set is coherent whatever the recipient's home looks like. Choose a mid to heavy weight of 165 to 240 gsm for towels and table linen so the pieces feel substantial.Table runner: add about 15 to 20 centimetres overhang at each end.Tablecloth: table size plus the drop you want on each side.Throw: generous enough to share, neutral enough for any room.Towels and napkins: standard sizes, mid to heavy weight. When unsure: a runner is safer than a tablecloth. The pattern mirrors the garment guidance: the more measurement you can supply, the more specific the gift can be, and the less you know, the more you should choose a format that is forgiving. A runner, a throw and a towel set all sit comfortably in the safe zone, which is why they are such reliable gifts when a size is uncertain.Making a size mistake recoverableEven careful givers sometimes choose the wrong size, so the difference between a small inconvenience and a wasted gift is whether the exchange route was part of the plan. Treat it as a feature of the gift, not an admission of doubt.Check the policy before you orderRead how returns and exchanges work, how long the window lasts, and whether the recipient can act on your behalf. A clearly stated exchange process removes the pressure from the transaction, because both people know a wrong guess is correctable. The practical steps for swapping a size are covered in our guide to whether you can exchange for another size.Keep the receipt and mention it lightlyRetain the order confirmation and mention the option in one relaxed sentence when you give the gift, such as "if the size is off, it is easy to swap". Framing it calmly signals confidence rather than doubt, and most correctly chosen linen gifts are kept. Do not hand over a receipt with a price circled; just make the option known.Prefer adjustable pieces when you are unsureDrawstrings, elastic backs, wrap ties and oversized cuts all absorb small errors, so a garment with those features is a safer gift than a fixed, fitted one. This is the same principle that puts relaxed shirts and loose midi dresses near the top of the safe list.Remember that colour swaps are easier than size swapsIf you are torn between two neutral tones, a colour exchange is usually simpler, because it does not depend on fit. Choosing between natural and oatmeal is therefore low risk, and either will suit most wardrobes. When you cannot decide between a colour you are unsure about and a neutral you trust, the neutral is the better gift.Read the returns and exchanges policy before buying.Keep the order confirmation and mention the option briefly.Prefer adjustable or oversized cuts that tolerate small errors.Treat a colour swap as a low-risk backup.Remember that most correctly chosen linen gifts are kept.Building in this safety net does not weaken the gift, it protects it. A recipient who knows they can adjust the size is more likely to wear the piece and less likely to leave it unworn, which is the outcome that matters most. What to write on the card so the size and care are clearA short note in the box does two jobs: it confirms the size and it explains how to care for the piece. Both make the gift easier to use, and neither takes more than a few lines.State the size plainlyWrite the size on the card so the recipient does not have to check the label, and add the exchange line in the same place. If you deliberately chose the larger of two sizes, a short "chosen a size up for a relaxed fit" removes any doubt about your intent.State the fibre, weight and wash temperatureThree facts cover care: the fibre content, such as 100 percent European Flax linen; the weight in grams per square metre; and the wash temperature, which should be cool with a gentle cycle and mild detergent, then air dry or low heat. Add one sentence recommending a cool wash before first use, which removes mill finishing and starts the softening process.Keep it to five or six linesA short card is more likely to be read than a long one. Five or six lines covering the size, the exchange option, the fibre, the weight and the wash temperature is enough, and it can be handwritten. The card is also a quiet signal that the gift was chosen deliberately, which is often remembered longer than the piece itself.Size and the exchange option in one line.Fibre content, for example 100 percent European Flax.Weight in grams per square metre.Wash cool, gentle cycle, mild detergent, no bleach.Dry air or low heat, then steam rather than press. If you want the care detail in full before you write the card, our guide to washing linen covers the first wash, everyday laundering and stain handling, and you can summarise the key points in a few words rather than sending the recipient to search for them.Frequently asked questionsWhat size linen should I buy if I do not know their size?Choose a gift that needs no size at all. Tea towels, napkins, a table runner, a throw, a scarf, a pouch or a tote all work without a measurement, and they suit almost any recipient. If you want to give something wearable, choose a forgiving format such as a relaxed shirt, a loose midi dress or a wide-leg pant, and select the larger size if the recipient is between two sizes. Avoid fitted dresses and tailored trousers unless you can confirm a measurement.Should I size up or down for a linen gift?Size up. Linen has no stretch, so a garment that fits exactly at the seams can feel tight when the wearer sits or reaches, and a size that is slightly too small is usually left unworn. A size up reads as relaxed and intentional and can be taken in if needed, whereas a size down cannot be let out. When the recipient sits between two sizes, the larger size is the safer and better-received gift. Are linen gifts easy to exchange if the size is wrong? That depends on the policy of the shop, so check it before you order and keep the order confirmation. A gift with a clear exchange window is far lower risk, because a wrong guess becomes a simple swap rather than a wasted present. Mention the option in one relaxed sentence when you give the gift, and prefer adjustable or oversized cuts that tolerate a small error in the first place.Do home textiles need a size like clothing does?Far less. Tea towels, napkins and bath towels use standard sizes and need no decision. A table runner needs only the table length, and a throw benefits from knowing the sofa or bed width, but both are forgiving. This is why home textiles are the safest linen gift when the recipient's size or taste is uncertain, and why they sit at the top of the size-risk table. The short versionIf you do not know the recipient's size, buy a linen gift that does not need one: tea towels, napkins, a table runner, a throw, a scarf, a pouch or a tote. If you want to give something wearable, choose a forgiving format such as a relaxed shirt, a loose midi dress or a wide-leg pant, and size up when the recipient sits between two sizes, because linen has no stretch. For a fitted piece, compare the listed measurements against a garment the recipient already owns, then confirm the exchange policy and keep the receipt. Size up rather than down, prefer adjustable waists and elastic backs, match the weight to the season, and include a short card stating the size, the fibre, the weight and the wash temperature.Do those things and a size that is slightly off stops being a problem, because the format was forgiving and the exchange route was open. Linen is generous and long-lasting and improves with every wash, so the material does most of the work; your task is only to choose a format that asks nothing of the recipient except to wear and enjoy it.If you want to give linen that becomes part of a daily routine rather than a drawer, start with a piece that needs no size guess and work up from there. Our linen collections are made from 100 percent European Flax with a garment-washed finish, and every product page lists the exact fibre content and weight in grams per square metre so you can match the gift to the season. Check the delivery window before you order, include a short care card, and pair a scarf with a shirt or a throw with a tea towel set to complete the present.

Question 2

KOSSR product pages list sizes from XS to XXL with relaxed fits on most linen styles. This answer explains the size range honestly, how to compare garment measurements with your own, which cuts suit a fuller figure, and what to do if your measurements sit above the XXL size chart.

Accepted Answer

Size QuestionsDoes KOSSR Offer Plus-Size Linen Clothing?Short answer: KOSSR product pages list sizes from XS through XXL, and most linen styles are cut with a relaxed fit that includes natural ease through the body. XXL is the largest size currently listed on the product pages, and the size chart on each product page is the specification to compare against your own measurements. Many fuller-figure shoppers find that a relaxed KOSSR cut in their measurement-matched size sits comfortably, and some find the XXL chart matches their measurements. If your measurements sit above the XXL chart, or if you are unsure, contact KOSSR support with your bust, waist, hip and height before you order and the team can confirm what is possible. This page explains the range honestly, shows how to compare garment measurements with your own, and gives the fit advice that matters most for a woven fabric like linen. What "Plus Size" Means in a Linen RangeThe words plus size do not carry a single meaning in retail. Sometimes they describe a numeric size range, sometimes a separate fit block with extra pattern work, and sometimes simply any size offered above the middle of a brand's list. Those are three different things, and the difference matters most in a woven fabric like linen, because linen has very little stretch to absorb a pattern that was only scaled up rather than drafted again.A brand that genuinely drafts for a fuller figure adjusts the shoulder slope, armhole depth, bust position, waistline height and hip curve. A brand that only scales a smaller pattern produces a garment that is longer and wider in the same proportions, which is why sleeves pull, armholes feel tight and the waist detail lands in the wrong place. You do not need technical training to tell the difference: the shoulder seam sits on the shoulder, the underarm is comfortable when both arms are raised, and the waist detail crosses the narrowest point of your torso. This is the context in which to read the KOSSR range. The product pages list XS to XXL. Most styles are cut with a relaxed fit rather than a body-hugging one, and comfort comes from the combination of that generous cut, the stated garment measurements and construction details such as smocking, adjustable straps and side slits. The general guidance on how KOSSR sizes run is the natural next read if you want to go straight to the sizing logic. The Honest Answer About the KOSSR Size RangeIt is more useful to describe the range accurately than to imply that it is wider than it is. KOSSR lists sizes XS, S, M, L, XL and XXL on its product pages. XXL is the largest size currently listed, and it is the size to compare against the garment measurements if your body measurements sit toward the top of the chart. What makes the range work in practice is not only the letter on the label but the way the garments are cut. Because linen is a woven fabric, a relaxed pattern holds the line it was designed for instead of clinging and stretching. A wrap tie can be adjusted to your own waist. A smocked band expands and contracts across a wider measurement span. Adjustable straps let you set coverage and length yourself. Side slits restore stride length so a straight tunic or skirt does not pull when you walk or sit. Those details extend the comfortable range of a garment beyond what a single size number suggests.Equally important is what KOSSR does not claim. The product pages do not advertise a size above XXL, and no page implies that a scaled garment equals a dedicated plus fit. If your measurements sit above the XXL chart, the right move is not to guess at a size but to ask. KOSSR support can review your measurements, your preferred fit and the specific piece you are considering, and confirm whether it will work before you place an order. In one line: KOSSR offers XS to XXL with relaxed fits on most styles, XXL is the top of the listed range, and support can advise if your measurements sit beyond it.Why a Listed Size Is Not the Same as a Plus FitIf you have ever bought a garment in your usual size and found that it fitted around the body but not at the shoulder, you have met a scaled pattern. In knitwear this is often forgiving, because the fabric stretches. In linen it is not, because the cloth barely stretches at all. That is the single most important fact to carry into any linen purchase, and it is why the measurement habits on this page matter more in linen than they would in a jersey dress.Three areas decide whether a woven garment works on a fuller frame. The first is the armhole and upper sleeve, because it is the first place a scaled pattern fails and the hardest to alter. The second is the bust and button front, because a fitted button placket can gape even when the bust measurement matches. The third is the waistline position, because a waist seam or band that sits above or below your natural waist changes both comfort and proportion.Area to checkWhat to look forWhy it matters in linenArmhole and upper sleeveA relaxed shoulder line and room to raise both arms comfortablyLinen does not stretch, so a tight armhole stays tightBust and button frontEnough ease that the placket lies flat with no pullingWoven cloth gapes at buttons when it is at zero easeWaistline positionA seam, tie or band that crosses your natural waistPlacement controls proportion and comfort togetherHip and hem lineA hem that falls at the ankle or the narrowest part of the legWeight and length decide how the cloth drapesFabric weightRoughly 160 to 220 gsm for drape without clingingVery light linen can cling and be more translucentRead together, those five checks turn a size number into a fit decision. They also apply whether you are at the smaller or larger end of the range, which is why the same method is used in the guide on how to choose the right size. How to Compare KOSSR Garment Measurements With Your OwnThe most reliable way to decide on a KOSSR size is to compare the garment measurements printed on the product page with your own body measurements, then choose based on how much ease you want. Body measurements tell you your size in principle; garment measurements tell you how the piece will actually hang, which is the part that matters in a woven fabric.Measure your body. Use a soft tape over light clothing and record bust, waist, hip, shoulder width and your preferred garment length. Keep the tape level and comfortably snug, not tight.Note the garment measurements. Product pages list the actual measurements of the garment. Compare them directly with your numbers rather than with a size number from another brand.Decide on ease. As a rule of thumb, aim for roughly 2 to 5 cm (about one to two inches) of ease at the bust and the hip. Linen at zero ease pulls at the buttons and creases hard at the stress points.Read the fit note. A relaxed cut already contains extra ease, so your measurement-matched size may be correct even if the number looks small. A fitted or button-front cut usually needs the larger option.Ask if you are unsure. If your measurements sit above the XXL chart, contact support with your numbers and the piece you are considering before ordering. If two sizes genuinely look plausible, the decision rule for woven linen is simple: for fitted, structured or button-front styles take the larger size, and for already-relaxed or loose styles take the size that matches your upper body. The fuller version of that reasoning is set out in the guide on what to do if you are between sizes, and it holds just as well above the middle of the range as below it.Which KOSSR Linen Styles Suit a Fuller FigureStyle choice does more for how a linen garment reads than a size number does. The most comfortable and most flattering pieces tend to share a small number of features: a defined waist, a clean vertical line, generous ease through the armhole, and a fabric weight that drapes rather than clings. A wrap front, a shirt dress, a wide-leg trouser and a longline tunic all deliver several of those at once.Wrap and faux-wrap dresses. A deep V line plus a tie you control at the waist. Check that the skirt overlaps fully and that the bust coverage is comfortable.Shirt dresses. A straight body with a collar and button front, easy to belt or wear open. Check the button placket across the bust and the armhole depth.Wide-leg and straight trousers. A clean vertical leg that balances a fuller hip or upper body. Check the rise, the waistband construction and where the hem breaks.Smocked and elastic-waist styles. A flexible band that adapts across a wider measurement range. Check that the band sits at your natural waist.Longline tunics and overshirts. Worn open, they add two vertical lines and cover the hip. Check total length and side-slit height.Once the silhouette is settled, styling becomes simple: define one point at the waist, follow the vertical with an open layer, and let the linen texture carry the interest. Building a small rotation of pieces that all work together is covered in the guide to choosing linen clothing for everyday wear.Comfort Details That Extend the RangeConstruction details are what let a relaxed linen garment fit comfortably across a wider span of bodies. They are also easy to identify in a product description once you know which words to look for, and they matter more in linen than in stretch fabrics because the cloth itself provides no give.Relaxed shoulder and armhole. Comfort to raise both arms without pulling across the chest or back.Smocked or elasticated waistbands. Adaptive fit that keeps the waist detail in place instead of sliding.Adjustable straps and ties. You set the length and coverage yourself, which is helpful in dresses and jumpsuits.Side slits and vents. They restore stride length and stop a straight hem from pulling when you sit or walk.Generous pockets and secure closures. Practical details that make a piece genuinely wearable day to day.Garment-washed finish. Pre-shrunk before shipping, so the size you receive is close to the size it keeps.A practical point about fabric weight: mid-weight linen of roughly 160 to 220 gsm tends to drape and provide coverage, while very light linen below about 150 gsm can cling in humid conditions and read as more translucent in pale shades. If you choose a light weight for warm weather, pair it with a roomy cut and a deeper tone. Whether linen clothing feels comfortable at all is covered in more depth in the explainer on whether linen clothing is comfortable. If Your Measurements Sit Above the XXL ChartHonesty here saves time and returns. KOSSR product pages list sizes up to XXL, and the listed size chart is the specification for those sizes. If your measurements sit above the XXL chart, ordering the nearest listed size and hoping is unlikely to give you the fit you want, because linen will not stretch into place the way a knit might. The practical route is to contact KOSSR support before ordering, with your bust, waist, hip and height, your preferred fit and the specific piece you are considering. Support can tell you how a particular cut runs, whether the relaxed fit provides enough room, and where the garment measurements place you. That is a far better use of five minutes than a round of exchanges. Two further points are worth knowing before you ask. First, fit preference is personal: two people with identical measurements may choose different sizes depending on whether they want a close fit or a loose one, so state your preference. Second, the care routine protects the fit you chose. Wash at 30 °C with a mild detergent, do not bleach, line dry in shade, and iron while slightly damp if you want a crisp finish. Hot water and tumble drying are the two things that can still move a pre-shrunk linen garment, so avoid both. Before you order: compare garment measurements, not size labels; aim for roughly 2 to 5 cm of ease at bust and hip; take the larger size for fitted or button-front styles; and contact support if your measurements sit above the XXL chart.Common Questions About KOSSR Plus-Size LinenDoes KOSSR offer sizes above XXL?The product pages currently list sizes from XS to XXL, and XXL is the largest size shown. If your measurements sit above the XXL size chart, contact KOSSR support with your measurements and the piece you are considering so the team can confirm what is possible before you order. Are KOSSR linen styles relaxed or fitted? Most KOSSR linen styles are cut with a relaxed fit that includes natural ease for comfort, airflow and movement. Some pieces are more fitted or structured, such as button-front styles, so always read the fit note and the garment measurements on the individual product page rather than assuming one fit applies across the range. Will linen cling to a fuller figure?Linen clings when it is stretched tight or cut from a very light weight, and hangs when it is allowed room. Choose roughly 160 to 220 gsm, look for ease through the bust, armhole and hip, and prefer a style with a defined waist or a clean vertical line to give the cloth room to drape. Can I exchange a KOSSR item for a different size?Size exchanges may be available when the item meets the exchange conditions and the replacement size is in stock. Because linen has limited stretch, compare garment measurements carefully before reordering, and contact support with your order number and the size you need so the team can guide you to a better fit.The Short Answer, RestatedKOSSR lists sizes from XS to XXL, with relaxed fits on most linen styles, and XXL is the top of the listed range. Sizing follows the garment measurements on each product page rather than your usual size in another brand, so the reliable method is to measure your bust, waist, hip and height, compare them with the garment measurements, and allow roughly 2 to 5 cm of ease at the bust and hip. Take the larger size for fitted or button-front styles, and choose the relaxed option when the piece is already cut with ease.If your measurements sit above the XXL chart, contact KOSSR support before ordering with your numbers and the piece you are considering. That single message is the most useful thing you can do, and it is far quicker than a return. Then protect the fit you chose with a cool wash at 30 °C and shade drying, and let the garment soften with wear.Compare the real numbers for yourself: browse the linen dresses collection and check the size chart, fabric weight and fit note on each product page, or read the full KOSSR size guide before you decide.

Question 3

Learn whether KOSSR linen dresses run true to size, how linen dress fit works, when to size up, what measurements to check, and how to choose the right size for maxi, midi, shirt, wrap, slip, and relaxed linen dresses.

Size & Fit Guide · Linen Dress Fit Do Your Linen Dresses Run True to Size? KOSSR linen dresses are designed to follow the measurements shown in each product size chart, but the fit may feel different from stretchy clothing because linen is a natural woven fabric. This guide explains whether KOSSR linen dresses run true to size, when to size up, and how to choose the best fit for maxi, midi, shirt, wrap, slip, and relaxed linen dresses. True to Size Chart KOSSR linen dresses should be chosen based on the product measurements, not only your usual brand size. Limited Stretch Linen is woven and usually has little stretch, so fitted styles may feel more structured. Relaxed Comfort Many linen dresses are designed with natural ease for breathable everyday and summer wear. Do KOSSR Linen Dresses Run True to Size? KOSSR linen dresses generally run true to the measurements listed on each product page. However, because linen is a natural woven fabric with limited stretch, the dress may feel more structured than a stretchy knit dress, jersey dress, or spandex-blend garment. The most accurate way to choose your KOSSR linen dress size is to measure your bust, waist, hips, shoulders, and height, then compare those measurements with the product size chart and garment measurements. If your measurements match one size clearly, that size is usually the best starting point. If you are between sizes, prefer a relaxed fit, or are choosing a fitted linen dress, sizing up may feel more comfortable. Short answer: KOSSR linen dresses are designed to fit according to the listed size chart. If you are between sizes or prefer a more relaxed linen fit, consider choosing the larger size. Why Linen Dresses May Feel Different From Other Dresses Linen is known for its breathable texture, natural surface, and effortless summer look. However, it does not behave like stretch fabrics. A linen dress can feel more structured because the fabric is woven rather than knitted. This means a linen dress may feel different around key fit points such as the bust, waist, hips, shoulders, and armholes. Fabric Type How It Usually Fits Linen Natural, breathable, woven, usually limited stretch. Jersey Knit Soft, flexible, and more body-hugging. Spandex Blend Elastic, stretchy, and easier to fit close to the body. Structured Cotton Stable and woven, with fit depending on the garment cut. If you usually wear stretchy dresses, a linen dress in the same size may feel less flexible. This does not always mean the dress runs small; it may simply reflect the nature of woven linen. How to Check If a Linen Dress Will Fit To check whether a KOSSR linen dress will fit you well, compare your measurements with the size chart and focus on the most important body areas for the dress style. Measurement Why It Matters Bust Important for fitted bodices, slip dresses, button-front dresses, and halter styles. Waist Important for wrap dresses, belted dresses, A-line dresses, and fitted waist styles. Hips Important for straight-cut, slip, shirt, and fitted linen dresses. Shoulders Important for shirt dresses, sleeved dresses, and structured upper-body fits. Armhole Important for sleeveless dresses, tank dresses, and summer linen styles. Length Important for maxi, midi, mini, and vacation dresses based on your height. When Should I Choose My Usual Size? Your usual size may be the best choice if your body measurements match the product size chart and the dress is designed with a relaxed or regular fit. Choose Your Usual Size If: Your bust, waist, and hip measurements match one size clearly. The product description says regular fit or relaxed fit. The dress has a loose or flowing silhouette. The garment measurements include enough ease for movement. You prefer the fit shown on the model. The dress has an adjustable waist, tie belt, or wrap detail. For many relaxed linen dresses, your usual size will give a natural, breathable fit without feeling too tight. When Should I Size Up? You may want to size up if you are between sizes, prefer a looser fit, or are choosing a fitted linen dress with limited stretch. Consider Sizing Up If: You are between two sizes. You prefer a relaxed, breezy linen look. The dress is fitted at the bust, waist, or hips. The dress has buttons across the bust or hip area. The dress has a zipper and no adjustable waist. You have broader shoulders or a fuller bust. You want more comfort when sitting, walking, or traveling. You are concerned about slight shrinkage after washing. Sizing up can be especially helpful for structured linen dresses, button-front shirt dresses, straight-cut dresses, and fitted bodice styles. When Should I Size Down? Sizing down may work for some oversized or very relaxed linen dresses, but it should be done carefully. Consider Sizing Down Only If: The dress is intentionally oversized. Your measurements are closer to the smaller size. You prefer a cleaner, less loose silhouette. The garment width is much larger than your preferred fit. The dress has enough room at the bust, waist, and hips even in the smaller size. Avoid sizing down in fitted, structured, button-front, or straight-cut linen dresses unless the garment measurements clearly allow enough room. How Different KOSSR Linen Dress Styles Fit Not all linen dresses fit the same way. A relaxed maxi dress, structured shirt dress, and fitted slip dress may all feel different even if they are labeled the same size. Dress Style Fit Notes Linen Maxi Dress Often relaxed and flowing. Check bust, waist, hips, and total length. Linen Midi Dress Length depends on height. Check waist placement and hem position. Linen Shirt Dress May feel structured at shoulders, bust, and hips. Check button placement carefully. Linen Wrap Dress Usually adjustable at the waist, but bust coverage and hip room still matter. Linen Slip Dress May fit closer to the body. Check bust and hip measurements carefully. Linen Halter Dress Check bust, neckline, back fit, and overall length. Linen A-Line Dress Usually more forgiving through the hips, but bust and shoulder fit still matter. Do Linen Maxi Dresses Run True to Size? KOSSR linen maxi dresses usually fit according to the product measurements. Many maxi styles are designed with a relaxed silhouette, but length is very important. Before ordering a linen maxi dress, check: Bust measurement Waist measurement Hip measurement Total dress length Model height and size, if provided Your preferred footwear height If you are petite, a maxi dress may feel longer. If you are tall, check whether the dress length reaches your preferred ankle or floor position. Do Linen Shirt Dresses Run True to Size? Linen shirt dresses may feel more structured than relaxed dresses because they often include collars, buttons, sleeves, and straight-cut shaping. For shirt dresses, check: Shoulder width Bust measurement Sleeve length Hip measurement Button placement Dress length If you are between sizes or have a fuller bust, broader shoulders, or curvier hips, sizing up may help reduce pulling between buttons. Do Linen Wrap Dresses Run True to Size? Linen wrap dresses may offer more flexibility because the waist can often be adjusted. However, you should still check bust coverage, waist placement, hip room, and dress length. Wrap dresses can be a good choice for customers between sizes, but the neckline and bust fit should feel secure. If the wrap does not provide enough coverage in the bust area, sizing up may be more comfortable. Do Linen Slip Dresses Run True to Size? Linen slip dresses may fit closer to the body than relaxed linen dresses. Because they often have a simpler silhouette, bust and hip measurements are especially important. If your bust or hips are between sizes, choose the larger size for better comfort and smoother drape. A slip dress that is too tight may pull across the body and reduce the natural elegance of linen. What If I Am Between Sizes in a Linen Dress? If you are between sizes, choose based on the dress style and where your measurements fall. Your Situation Recommended Choice Between sizes in a fitted linen dress Choose the larger size for comfort. Between sizes in a relaxed linen dress Your usual size may work if the garment has enough ease. Fuller bust or broader shoulders Choose based on bust and shoulder measurements first. Curvier hips in a straight dress Choose the size that fits your hips comfortably. Petite height Check dress length carefully before sizing up. Concerned about shrinkage Choose the larger size and follow care instructions carefully. Will Linen Dresses Shrink After Washing? Linen may shrink slightly after washing depending on fabric treatment, water temperature, drying method, and care routine. Proper washing and drying can help protect the fit. To help reduce shrinkage: Follow the care label instructions. Wash in cool or lukewarm water. Avoid high heat drying. Air dry when possible. Do not use harsh washing cycles unless recommended. Reshape the garment gently while damp if needed. If you are between sizes and the dress is fitted, choosing the larger size may help maintain comfort after washing. How to Measure Before Ordering a Linen Dress Accurate measurements make it easier to choose the right linen dress size. Use a soft measuring tape and measure while standing naturally. Bust Measure around the fullest part of your bust. This is very important for fitted bodices, shirt dresses, slip dresses, and halter dresses. Waist Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist. This matters for wrap dresses, belted dresses, and A-line dresses. Hips Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat. This matters for straight, slip, shirt, and fitted linen dresses. Shoulders Measure from shoulder point to shoulder point across your back. This matters for sleeved linen dresses and structured shirt dresses. Dress Length Compare the product dress length with your height and preferred hem position. This is especially important for maxi, midi, and mini dresses. Common Fit Problems and How to Avoid Them Most dress sizing issues can be reduced by checking measurements before checkout. Fit Issue How to Avoid It Buttons pulling at bust Check bust measurement and consider sizing up in shirt dresses. Dress tight at hips Check hip measurement, especially for straight or slip dresses. Armhole feels tight Check shoulder and bust measurements before ordering sleeveless styles. Dress too long Check total length and compare with your height. Waist sits too high or low Check waist placement and product photos on the model. Dress feels less stretchy than expected Remember that linen is woven and usually has limited stretch. You may want to size up if you are between sizes, prefer a relaxed fit, or are choosing a fitted, structured, button-front, or slip-style linen dress. Do linen dresses stretch? Bust, waist, hips, shoulders, armholes, and dress length are the most important measurements to check before ordering. What if I am between sizes? For fitted linen dresses, choose the larger size. For relaxed or oversized styles, your usual size may work if the garment measurements include enough ease. Can KOSSR help me choose a dress size? Yes. Question 4

Learn what to do if you are between KOSSR sizes, including when to size up, when to choose your usual size, how linen clothing fits, and how to choose the right size for dresses, tops, pants, skirts, and sets.

Accepted Answer

Size & Fit Guide · Between Sizes What If I Am Between Sizes? If your measurements fall between two KOSSR sizes, the best choice depends on the garment style, fabric structure, and how you like your linen clothing to fit. This guide explains when to size up, when to choose your usual size, and how to decide between two sizes for linen dresses, tops, pants, skirts, and sets. Size Up for Comfort If you prefer a relaxed linen fit or the garment is fitted, the larger size may feel more comfortable. Check the Style Oversized, relaxed, fitted, and structured linen styles may fit differently even in the same size. Measure Carefully Compare your bust, waist, hips, and garment length with the product size chart before ordering. What Should I Do If I Am Between Sizes? If you are between two KOSSR sizes, choose based on the garment’s fabric, silhouette, and your preferred fit. Because linen is a natural woven fabric with limited stretch, the larger size is often more comfortable for fitted, structured, or button-front pieces. However, sizing up is not always necessary. If the product is already relaxed or oversized, your usual size may provide enough room. In some oversized styles, choosing the larger size may create more volume than expected. The best way to decide is to compare your body measurements with the product size chart and garment measurements. Pay close attention to the areas where your measurements fall between sizes, such as bust, waist, hips, shoulders, rise, or length. Short answer: if you are between sizes, choose the larger size for fitted or structured linen styles, and choose your usual size for relaxed or oversized styles unless you want a looser look. Quick Decision Guide Use this quick guide to decide whether to size up, stay with your usual size, or size down when your measurements fall between two sizes. Your Situation Recommended Choice You prefer a relaxed linen fit Choose the larger size. The garment is fitted or structured Choose the larger size for comfort and movement. The garment has buttons at the bust or hips Choose the larger size to reduce pulling or gaping. The garment is already relaxed Your usual size may be enough. The garment is oversized Check garment width carefully before sizing up. You want a closer silhouette Choose the smaller size only if measurements allow comfortable movement. You are concerned about shrinkage Consider the larger size and follow linen care instructions carefully. Why Being Between Sizes Matters More With Linen Linen is breathable, natural, and comfortable, but it usually has little to no stretch. This means a size that feels fine in stretchy knitwear may feel tighter in a woven linen garment. When you are between sizes, the fabric structure becomes important. Linen does not usually stretch around the bust, waist, hips, thighs, or shoulders the way elastic fabrics do. A slightly larger size may provide better movement, better drape, and more comfort for warm weather. Linen is also often styled with a relaxed look. A little ease can help the garment feel cooler, move more naturally, and create the soft effortless silhouette that many customers expect from linen clothing. If your measurements are between sizes and the garment has no stretch, comfort should be the priority. A slightly relaxed fit is usually better than a tight fit in linen. When Should I Size Up? Sizing up is often the better choice when the garment is fitted, structured, button-front, or made from woven linen with very little stretch. Consider Sizing Up If: Your bust, waist, or hips are close to the upper end of a size range. You prefer a relaxed or breezy linen fit. The garment has a fitted bodice or structured waist. The style has buttons that may pull across the bust or hips. You are choosing linen pants and need more room at the hips or thighs. You plan to wear the item in hot weather. You are concerned about slight shrinkage after washing. You prefer comfort over a very close fit. Sizing up can be especially helpful for linen dresses, linen pants, fitted linen tops, and woven pieces that need room for sitting, walking, and daily movement. When Should I Choose My Usual Size? Your usual size may be the best choice if the product is already designed with enough ease. Many linen garments are intentionally relaxed, so sizing up may make the garment look too loose. Choose Your Usual Size If: The product description says relaxed fit. The product description says oversized fit. Your measurements are only slightly between sizes. The garment measurements already include enough ease. You prefer the fit shown on the model. The item has an elastic waistband or adjustable tie. The garment has a loose silhouette, such as a flowy dress or oversized shirt. Before choosing your usual size, compare the finished garment measurements with a similar piece you already own and like. This can help you understand how much room the KOSSR garment may have. When Should I Size Down? Sizing down should be done carefully. It may work for oversized styles, but it may not be suitable for fitted or structured linen garments. Consider Sizing Down Only If: The product is intentionally oversized. Your measurements are closer to the smaller size. You prefer a less loose silhouette. The garment width is much larger than your preferred fit. The style has enough ease even in the smaller size. You have compared the garment measurements and are confident the smaller size will still allow movement. Do not size down if the item is fitted, button-front, structured, narrow at the hips, or has no stretch and your measurements are closer to the larger size. How to Decide Between Two Sizes When deciding between two sizes, focus on the part of your body that needs the most room in that garment. Garment Type Most Important Measurement Linen dress Bust, waist, hips, and dress length Linen shirt Bust, shoulders, sleeve length, and button placement Linen blouse Bust, shoulders, armhole, and top length Linen pants Waist, hips, rise, thighs, and inseam Linen skirt Waist, hips, waistband type, and skirt length Linen set Top and bottom measurements checked separately For example, if your bust fits size M but your hips fit size L in a linen dress, the better choice may depend on the dress shape. For a straight or fitted dress, size L may be safer. For a loose A-line dress, size M may still work if the hip area has enough room. If You Are Between Sizes in Linen Dresses For linen dresses, the best size depends on the silhouette. Some dresses are fitted at the bust or waist, while others are loose through the body. Choose the Larger Size If: The dress is fitted at the bust or waist. The dress has a zipper with limited stretch. The dress has buttons across the bust or hips. Your hips are closer to the larger size. You prefer a relaxed, airy summer fit. Your Usual Size May Work If: The dress is A-line, flowy, or relaxed. The waist is adjustable with a tie or wrap design. The garment measurements already provide enough ease. You prefer the model’s intended silhouette. If You Are Between Sizes in Linen Tops For linen tops, pay attention to bust, shoulders, armholes, and sleeve length. Woven linen tops may feel tight if the shoulders or bust are too narrow. Choose the Larger Size If: You have broader shoulders. You have a fuller bust. The top is button-front and may gap at the bust. The armhole feels narrow in similar styles. You prefer a more relaxed linen look. Your Usual Size May Work If: The top is loose, boxy, or oversized. The product description says relaxed fit. The garment width is already generous. You prefer a cleaner, less oversized silhouette. If You Are Between Sizes in Linen Pants For linen pants, comfort around the waist, hips, rise, and thighs is very important. Linen pants should allow sitting, walking, and movement without pulling. Choose the Larger Size If: Your hips or thighs are closer to the larger size. The waistband is fixed and not elastic. The pants are straight-leg or fitted through the hip. You prefer comfort when sitting. You want a breezy warm-weather fit. Your Usual Size May Work If: The pants have an elastic waist. The pants are wide-leg with generous hip room. The garment measurements already provide enough ease. You prefer a neater fit at the waist. If You Are Between Sizes in Linen Skirts For linen skirts, the waistband type is one of the most important details. A fixed waistband requires more precise sizing, while an elastic or tie waist can offer more flexibility. Choose the Larger Size If: The skirt has a fixed waistband. Your waist measurement is closer to the larger size. The skirt is straight or fitted through the hips. You want more comfort when sitting. Your Usual Size May Work If: The skirt has an elastic waistband. The skirt is A-line or flared. The waist has a tie or adjustable closure. The hip area is not fitted. If You Are Between Sizes in Linen Sets Linen sets can be more challenging because your top and bottom measurements may fall into different sizes. For example, your bust may match size S while your hips match size M. Before choosing a set, check both pieces separately: Top bust measurement Top shoulder width Top length Bottom waist measurement Bottom hip measurement Bottom rise, inseam, or skirt length If the set is sold as one size combination, choose the size that fits the less flexible piece better. For example, if the bottom has a fixed waist, prioritize the bottom fit. If the top is button-front and fitted, prioritize bust and shoulder comfort. Should I Size Up Because Linen Shrinks? Linen may shrink slightly after washing, depending on fabric treatment, wash temperature, drying method, and care routine. Proper care helps reduce shrinkage. If you are between sizes and concerned about shrinkage, choosing the larger size may feel more comfortable, especially for fitted garments. To help protect the fit: Follow the care label instructions. Wash linen in cool or lukewarm water. Avoid high heat drying. Air dry when possible. Do not use harsh washing cycles unless recommended. If the garment is already very loose or oversized, sizing up only because of shrinkage may not be necessary. How to Measure Before Choosing Between Sizes Accurate measurements make size decisions easier. Use a soft measuring tape and measure while standing naturally. Measure These Areas Bust: around the fullest part of your bust. Waist: around the narrowest part of your natural waist. Hips: around the fullest part of your hips and seat. Shoulders: from shoulder point to shoulder point across the back. Height: useful for dress, skirt, and pants length. Inseam: important for linen pants and shorts. Compare your body measurements with both size options, then check the finished garment measurements when available. Finished garment measurements help show how much room the item will have. Common Mistakes When Choosing Between Sizes Many size issues happen because customers rely only on their usual size instead of checking the garment’s actual measurements. Avoid These Mistakes Choosing only based on your usual size from another brand. Forgetting that linen usually has limited stretch. Sizing down in a fitted woven garment. Ignoring bust, hip, or thigh measurements. Not checking garment length based on height. Assuming all linen styles fit the same way. Not checking whether the style is relaxed, oversized, or structured. Choosing a size before reviewing the product description. When Should I Contact KOSSR Support? Contact KOSSR support before ordering if you are between sizes and still unsure which size to choose. For better sizing guidance, include: Your bust, waist, and hip measurements Your height Your usual size in similar clothing The product name you want to buy The two sizes you are deciding between Your preferred fit: fitted, regular, relaxed, or oversized Any concerns such as broad shoulders, fuller bust, petite height, longer torso, or curvier hips This information helps the support team provide more practical size guidance based on the product style and your fit preference. Frequently Asked Questions About Being Between Sizes What if I am between sizes? If you are between sizes, choose based on garment style and fit preference. For fitted or structured linen pieces, the larger size is often more comfortable. Should I size up in linen clothing? You may want to size up if the garment has limited stretch, if you prefer a relaxed fit, or if your bust, waist, or hips are close to the larger size. Should I size down in oversized linen clothing? You may size down in some oversized styles if the garment measurements still allow comfortable movement and you prefer a less loose silhouette. What if my top and bottom sizes are different? For linen sets, check the top and bottom measurements separately. Choose the size that fits the less flexible piece better, or contact support for guidance. Does linen shrink after washing? Linen may shrink slightly depending on care. If you are between sizes and the garment is fitted, the larger size may be safer. Can KOSSR help me choose between two sizes? Yes. Contact KOSSR support with your measurements, height, preferred fit, product name, and the two sizes you are considering. Final Answer If you are between KOSSR sizes, choose the size based on the garment style, fabric structure, and your preferred fit. Because linen is a woven fabric with limited stretch, the larger size is often more comfortable for fitted, structured, button-front, or straight-cut styles. For relaxed or oversized linen styles, your usual size may be enough because the garment is already designed with extra ease. Sizing down may work only for some oversized pieces if the garment measurements still allow comfortable movement. For the best result, measure your bust, waist, hips, shoulders, and height, compare them with the product size chart, review the fit notes, and contact KOSSR support if you need help choosing between two sizes. Question 5

Learn how KOSSR sizes run for linen clothing, including whether KOSSR runs true to size, when to size up or down, how linen fit feels, and how to choose the best size for dresses, tops, pants, skirts, and sets.

Accepted Answer

Size & Fit Guide · KOSSR Sizing How Do KOSSR Sizes Run? KOSSR sizes are designed for comfortable, natural linen dressing. Because linen is a woven fabric with limited stretch, fit may feel different from stretchy knitwear or synthetic clothing. This guide explains how KOSSR sizes generally run, how to compare measurements, and how to choose the best size for your preferred linen fit. True to Measurements KOSSR sizing should be checked against the product size chart and garment measurements. Relaxed Linen Fit Many linen styles are designed with natural ease for comfort, breathability, and movement. Check Each Style Fit can vary between dresses, tops, pants, skirts, sets, and oversized silhouettes. How Do KOSSR Sizes Run? KOSSR sizes generally run according to the measurements shown on each product size chart. However, because linen clothing is usually made from woven natural fabric, it may feel less stretchy than knitwear, jersey, or spandex-blend clothing. Many KOSSR linen styles are designed with a slightly relaxed fit to support comfort, airflow, and easy movement. This relaxed fit is especially important for warm-weather clothing such as linen dresses, linen pants, linen tops, vacation outfits, and everyday summer pieces. The best way to choose your size is to measure your body and compare your bust, waist, hips, shoulders, height, and preferred garment length with the measurements on the product page. Short answer: KOSSR sizes are intended to match the listed size chart, but linen has limited stretch. If you are between sizes or prefer a looser linen look, consider choosing the larger size. Do KOSSR Sizes Run True to Size? KOSSR sizes are best understood as true to the product measurements rather than true to every customer’s usual size from other brands. Since sizing can vary across fashion brands, your usual size may not always be the best reference. For example, a size M in one brand may feel like a size S or L in another brand depending on the cut, fabric, fit model, and intended silhouette. This is why checking the KOSSR size chart is more reliable than ordering only by habit. If your body measurements match a size clearly, that size is usually the best starting point. If your measurements fall between two sizes, choose based on fabric stretch, garment style, and your preferred fit. Why Linen Fit Feels Different Linen is a natural woven fiber. It is breathable, lightweight, and comfortable, but it usually has little to no stretch. This means a linen garment may feel more structured than stretchy cotton knits, jersey dresses, or elastic-waist loungewear. Because linen does not stretch much, KOSSR linen clothing often works best with a little ease around the body. Fabric Type How It Usually Feels Linen Breathable, natural, woven, usually limited stretch. Jersey Knit Soft, flexible, stretchy, close-fitting. Spandex Blend Elastic, body-hugging, flexible. Structured Cotton Woven, stable, may have limited stretch depending on fabric. If you are used to stretchy clothing, your first linen garment may feel more structured. This does not mean the size is wrong; it means the fabric behaves differently. How KOSSR Linen Dresses Usually Fit KOSSR linen dresses may fit differently depending on the style. Some designs are relaxed and easy, while others may be more fitted at the bust, waist, or hips. Linen Maxi Dresses Linen maxi dresses often have a flowing silhouette. Check bust, waist, hips, and total length. If you are petite, length may feel longer. If you are tall, check whether the dress reaches your preferred ankle or floor length. Linen Midi Dresses Linen midi dresses usually fall between the knee and ankle depending on height. Check the garment length and waist placement before ordering. Linen Shirt Dresses Linen shirt dresses may feel more structured around the shoulders, bust, and hips. If buttons pull across the bust or hips, sizing up may be more comfortable. Linen Wrap Dresses Wrap dresses may offer some adjustment at the waist, but bust coverage and hip room should still be checked carefully. Linen Slip or Halter Dresses Slip and halter styles may fit closer to the body. Check bust and hip measurements carefully because these styles may have less extra ease. How KOSSR Linen Tops Usually Fit KOSSR linen tops may range from regular fit to relaxed or oversized. The most important measurements are usually bust, shoulder width, sleeve length, armhole depth, and top length. Linen shirts: usually need enough room at the bust, shoulders, and buttons. Linen blouses: may feel best with slight ease for movement. Linen tank tops: require attention to bust, neckline, and armhole fit. Linen camisoles: may fit closer, so check bust and strap length. Oversized linen tops: are intentionally loose, so check garment width before sizing up. If you have broader shoulders, a fuller bust, or prefer a relaxed fit, you may feel more comfortable choosing the larger size when between sizes. How KOSSR Linen Pants Usually Fit KOSSR linen pants are often designed for comfort, breathability, and relaxed movement. However, fit depends on waistband type, rise, hip room, thigh width, and leg shape. Wide-Leg Linen Pants Wide-leg linen pants usually feel relaxed through the leg. The most important measurements are waist, hips, rise, and length. Straight-Leg Linen Pants Straight-leg linen pants may need closer attention to hips and thighs. If you are between sizes, sizing up may allow better movement. Elastic-Waist Linen Pants Elastic-waist pants may offer more flexibility at the waist, but hip, thigh, and inseam measurements still matter. High-Waisted Linen Pants For high-waisted styles, check your natural waist and rise measurement. The waistband should feel secure but not tight. How KOSSR Linen Skirts Usually Fit KOSSR linen skirts may fit at the natural waist, mid waist, or low waist depending on the design. Check the product description and measurement chart before ordering. Important measurements include: Waist circumference Hip circumference Skirt length Waistband type Closure type Silhouette, such as straight, A-line, wrap, or flared If the skirt has a fixed waistband, choose based on your waist measurement. If the skirt has an elastic waistband, check the relaxed and stretched waistband measurements when available. How KOSSR Linen Sets Usually Fit Linen sets include both a top and a bottom, so sizing can be slightly more complex. Your top and bottom measurements may not fall into the same size. Before ordering a linen set, check: Top bust measurement Top shoulder width Top length Bottom waist measurement Bottom hip measurement Bottom inseam or skirt length Whether the set has a relaxed or fitted silhouette If your upper body and lower body measurements fall into different sizes, contact KOSSR support before ordering for guidance. What If I Am Between Sizes? If you are between sizes, the best choice depends on garment style, fabric stretch, and your preferred fit. Your Situation Recommended Choice You prefer a relaxed linen fit Consider choosing the larger size. The item is fitted or structured Consider sizing up for comfort and movement. The item is oversized Check garment width carefully before sizing up. You have a fuller bust or broader shoulders Choose based on bust and shoulder measurements first. You are between waist sizes in pants or skirts Check waistband type and hip measurement before choosing. You want a closer fit Choose the size that matches your measurements most closely. Should I Size Up in KOSSR Linen Clothing? You may want to size up if you are between sizes, prefer a relaxed fit, or are choosing a woven linen garment with a structured silhouette. Consider sizing up if: You prefer more room around the bust, waist, hips, or thighs. The product has a fitted shape. The fabric has little or no stretch. You plan to wear the item in hot weather. You want a breezy vacation or resort look. You are choosing a button-front style and want to avoid pulling. For oversized styles, sizing up may not be necessary because the garment is already designed with extra volume. Should I Size Down in KOSSR Linen Clothing? Sizing down may work for some oversized or very relaxed linen styles, but it should be done carefully. Consider sizing down only if: The product description clearly says oversized fit. Your measurements are closer to the smaller size. You prefer a less loose silhouette. The garment width is much larger than your preferred fit. The style has enough ease even in the smaller size. Do not size down if the garment is fitted, button-front, structured, or has no stretch and your measurements are closer to the larger size. Do KOSSR Sizes Shrink After Washing? Linen may shrink slightly after washing depending on fabric treatment, washing temperature, drying method, and garment care. Proper care helps reduce unwanted shrinkage. To protect the fit of your linen garment: Follow the care label instructions. Wash in cool or lukewarm water. Avoid high heat when drying. Air dry when possible. Do not use harsh washing cycles unless recommended. If you are between sizes and concerned about shrinkage, choosing the larger size may feel more comfortable. How to Check Your KOSSR Size Before Ordering The most reliable way to check your KOSSR size is to compare your measurements with the product size chart. Before Checkout, Review: Bust measurement Waist measurement Hip measurement Shoulder width Sleeve length Garment length Rise and inseam for pants Fit type listed on the product page Whether the product is relaxed, regular, fitted, or oversized If the product page provides garment measurements, compare them with a similar item you already own and like. This can help you understand how the KOSSR garment may fit in real life. Size Guide Quick Reference Use this quick reference when deciding whether KOSSR sizing may feel fitted, regular, relaxed, or oversized. Fit Type How It Usually Feels Fitted Closer to the body. Elastic Waist More flexible at the waist, but hip and length measurements still matter. Button-Front Needs enough bust and hip ease to avoid pulling between buttons. Why Linen Sizing Needs Extra Attention Linen is breathable, natural, and comfortable, but it behaves differently from stretchy synthetic fabrics. Most linen garments are woven, which means they usually have little to no stretch. This makes accurate sizing important. A size that feels comfortable in a stretchy knit dress may feel tighter in a structured linen dress. A pair of linen pants may also need more room around the waist, hips, thighs, and seat to allow natural movement. Linen is often designed with a relaxed silhouette. Slight extra ease can help the garment drape better, feel more breathable, and look more natural. For linen clothing, comfort often depends on both body measurements and garment ease. A little room can make the garment more wearable, especially in hot weather. How to Measure Your Body For the most accurate fit, measure your body while wearing lightweight clothing or undergarments. Stand naturally and keep the measuring tape flat, not too tight and not too loose. Bust Measure around the fullest part of your bust. Keep the tape level across your back and avoid pulling it too tightly. Waist Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist. This is usually above the belly button and below the ribcage. Hips Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat. This measurement is important for linen dresses, skirts, pants, and shorts. Shoulders Measure from one shoulder point to the other across the back. Shoulder width is especially important for linen shirts, blouses, structured tops, and dresses with sleeves. Sleeve Length Measure from the shoulder point down to where you want the sleeve to end. This is helpful for long-sleeve linen shirts, blouses, and outer layers. Garment Length Preference For dresses, skirts, and pants, check the product length. Compare it with your height and the length you prefer for daily wear, vacation styling, or occasion dressing. Body Measurements vs. Garment Measurements Body measurements and garment measurements are not the same. Body measurements refer to your actual body size, while garment measurements refer to the size of the clothing item itself. Measurement Type Meaning Body measurement Your actual bust, waist, hips, shoulder width, height, or inseam. Garment measurement The physical measurement of the finished clothing item. Ease The extra room between your body and the garment for comfort and movement. Fit type The intended silhouette, such as slim, regular, relaxed, loose, or oversized. A linen garment should usually be slightly larger than your body measurements in key areas so you can move comfortably. How Much Ease Should Linen Clothing Have? Ease is the extra space between your body and the garment. Linen clothing usually benefits from comfortable ease because the fabric does not stretch much. Fit Preference Recommended Feel Close fit Choose carefully and make sure the garment has enough room for sitting and movement. Regular fit Choose the size that matches your measurements with moderate garment ease. Relaxed fit Choose a size with extra room around the bust, waist, hips, and arms. Oversized fit Choose based on product measurements because the design is intentionally loose. If you plan to wear linen in hot weather, a slightly relaxed fit often feels cooler and more breathable. How to Choose the Right Size for Linen Dresses For linen dresses, the most important measurements are usually bust, waist, hips, shoulder width, and garment length. The best size depends on the dress style. Linen Maxi Dresses Check bust, waist, hip, and total length. If you are petite, pay special attention to dress length. If you are taller, make sure the dress length matches your preferred look. Linen Midi Dresses Check where the hem will fall on your body. A midi dress may look different depending on height and leg length. Linen Shirt Dresses Check bust, shoulders, sleeve length, and hip room. If the shirt dress has buttons, make sure there is enough ease across the bust and hips. Linen Wrap Dresses Check bust and waist carefully. Wrap styles may offer some adjustment, but the neckline and coverage should still feel secure. Linen Slip or Halter Dresses Check bust and hip measurements closely because these styles may have less structure and less room than relaxed linen silhouettes. How to Choose the Right Size for Linen Tops For linen tops, focus on bust, shoulders, sleeve length, armhole comfort, and total length. Choose your size based on the product style: Linen shirts: check bust, shoulders, sleeve length, and button placement. Linen blouses: check bust and shoulder width for comfortable movement. Linen tank tops: check bust, armhole depth, and neckline coverage. Linen camisoles: check bust and strap length if adjustable. Oversized linen tops: compare garment width with your preferred relaxed look. If you have broader shoulders or a fuller bust, you may prefer sizing up for woven linen tops. How to Choose the Right Size for Linen Pants For linen pants, check waist, hips, rise, thigh room, inseam, and overall length. Linen pants should allow comfortable sitting, walking, and movement. Important measurements include: Waist circumference Hip circumference Rise height Thigh width Inseam length Full pant length Leg opening width For wide-leg linen pants, the hip and waist fit are usually more important than leg width. For straight-leg linen pants, check hip and thigh room carefully. How to Choose the Right Size for Linen Skirts For linen skirts, the most important measurements are waist, hips, and skirt length. The best size depends on whether the skirt is fitted, A-line, wrap, elastic waist, midi, or maxi. Check: Natural waist measurement Hip measurement Skirt length Waistband style Closure type, such as zipper, tie, or elastic Whether the silhouette is straight, flared, or relaxed If the skirt has a fixed waistband with no stretch, choose based on your waist measurement. If the skirt has an elastic waist, check both relaxed and stretched waistband measurements when available. How to Choose the Right Size for Linen Sets Linen sets include two pieces, so you should check both the top and bottom measurements. A set may fit differently on the upper and lower body. Before ordering a linen set, check: Top bust measurement Top shoulder width Top length Bottom waist measurement Bottom hip measurement Bottom length or inseam Whether the top and bottom can be purchased separately If your top and bottom measurements fall into different sizes, contact KOSSR support before ordering so you can choose the best option. What If I Am Between Sizes? If you are between two sizes, choose based on fabric type, fit preference, and garment style. Consider Sizing Up If: You prefer a relaxed linen fit. The garment has no stretch. You want more comfort around the bust, waist, hips, or thighs. You plan to wear the piece in hot weather. The style is structured, fitted, or button-front. You are choosing linen pants, jumpsuits, or fitted dresses. Consider Your Usual Size If: The style is already relaxed or oversized. Your measurements match the size chart clearly. You prefer the garment to fit as shown on the model. The product description says the item runs true to size. Consider Sizing Down If: The item is intentionally oversized. You prefer a less loose silhouette. Your measurements are closer to the smaller size. The garment has a very relaxed cut. Does Linen Shrink After Washing? Linen may shrink slightly after washing, depending on fabric treatment, garment construction, washing temperature, drying method, and care routine. To reduce shrinkage risk, follow the care instructions on the product page or care label. In general, wash linen gently in cool or lukewarm water, avoid high heat, and air dry or tumble dry on low only if the care label allows it. If you are between sizes and concerned about shrinkage, sizing up may be more comfortable, especially for fitted linen pieces. Do KOSSR Sizes Run True to Size? KOSSR sizes are designed to match the measurements shown in the product size guide, but fit can vary depending on style, cut, and personal preference. A relaxed linen dress may feel roomy in your usual size, while a fitted linen top may need more careful measurement. For the most accurate choice, use the size chart and garment measurements instead of relying only on standard letter sizing. If the product page says “relaxed fit,” “oversized fit,” or “slim fit,” use that information when choosing your size. How Height Affects Linen Clothing Fit Height can affect how linen dresses, skirts, pants, and sets look on the body. A maxi dress may fall at the ankle on one person but reach the floor on another. Cropped pants may look full length on petite customers and shorter on taller customers. If length matters to you, check: Dress length from shoulder to hem Skirt length from waist to hem Pant inseam Full pant length Model height and size worn, if provided Your preferred footwear height For vacation or summer styling, length preference can also depend on whether you want a casual, elegant, or relaxed look. Common Size Mistakes to Avoid Many online sizing issues happen when customers rely only on their usual size instead of checking measurements. Avoid These Mistakes Choosing only based on your usual size from another brand. Ignoring that linen has limited stretch. Not measuring bust, waist, and hips before ordering. Forgetting to check garment length. Choosing a tight fit for a woven linen garment. Not checking whether the garment is relaxed, regular, slim, or oversized. Ignoring shrinkage and care instructions. Not checking separate measurements for linen sets. Size Guide Quick Reference Use this quick reference as a general guide before comparing the exact product size chart.
